Any attempt to use a new fluid would run into one of the original risk factors of the initial prospectus - the loss of fluid underground.
This was solved initially by the discovery of the trapped aquifer under pressure. The current understanding is that there is a vast volume in this aquifer.
This would rapidly disperse any new fluid causung unsurstainable loss of the fluid.
I think in these circumstances any furthur consideration of this issue would be a blind alley.
