I'm assuming that the need for multiple fracture zones is mainly to increase the heat flow rate by increaing the mass flow rate between bores.
If the multiple zones are mainly needed to access a greater granite volume heat reservoir then that would not work I guess, but I'm assuming that is not a bottleneck.
Wonder what the more alarmist would have to say about pumping nano particles underground!
