I've held CVI for a period of about 4 yrs now and I have to say, it's been a very bitter, but valuable lesson. No one to blame for that, but my own lack of (adequate) due diligence in researching the company, the business model and the key players.

For now, a loss of 25k sits in the bottom drawer - only because the space below that is the waste paper bin.

As others have already posted, you need to do your own research and take much less notice of the "positive and value-added" claims made by the management in this company. Obviously, there are v sound reasons why ASIC has clipped the wings of the company from earlier capital raising from current and potential shareholders.

I strongly doubt this poor-quality phoenix will rise from the ashes - ever.

If you're thinking of buying in to the potential of the current "good news" - do yourself a favour - look very carefully before you put a single $$ into CVI.
