What share will or should be worth and what market cap is two different things.
as suthern mentioned market cap is number of shares on offer times Share price.
they dont care about debt, income or PE this is just a straight mulitplication.
working out what a market share price is worth or putting a valuation is different. If you look at the "back of envelop" thread in GBG you may find some interesting reading about Stock value.
