New Minister of Oil appointed under Riyadh Agreement

    In Dec 2017, Aws Abdullah Ahmed Al Oud was appointed Minister of Oil.

    If the latest Ministry listing is correct then he was replaced, as written below at No.10, by Abdul Salam Abdullah Salem Ba Abboud. NOW REALLY, COULD THIS BE THE END OF OIL'S CORRUPTION IN YEMEN!




    Republican decision to form the government and name its members

    Today, Republican Decree No. (7) of 2020 AD was issued regarding the formation of the government and the designation of its members.

    The following is the text of the decision.

    Republican Decree No. (7) of 2020 AD regarding forming the government and naming its members

    President of the Republic:

    After perusal of the Constitution of the Republic of Yemen.

    And the initiative of the Gulf Cooperation Council and its implementation mechanism signed on 11/23/2011 AD.

    And on the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue.

    And the Riyadh Agreement signed on 11/05/2019. (Nov 5th 2019)

    And Law No. (3) of 2004 regarding the Council of Ministers;

    And Presidential Decree No. (35) of 2020 AD regarding the mandate of Dr. Moein Abdul-Malik Saeed to form the government.

    And based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and what is required by the supreme interest of the country.

    Article (1): The government shall be formed as follows:

    1. Dr. Moeen Abdul-Malik Saeed as Prime Minister.

    2. Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs.

    3. Lt. Gen. Muhammad Ali Ahmed Al-Maqdashi, Minister of Defense.

    4. Muammar Mutahar Muhammad Al-Eryani, Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism.

    5. Dr. Abdullah Abdul-Razzaq Badeeb was promised as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation.

    6. Nayef Saleh Abdel Qader Al-Bakri, Minister of Youth and Sports.

    7. Salem Saleh Salem Bin Buraik, Minister of Finance.

    8. Dr. Najeeb Mansour Hamid Al-Awj, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

    9. Salem Abdullah Issa Al-Soqtari, Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries.

    10. Abdul Salam Abdullah Salem Ba Abboud, Minister of Oil and Minerals.

    11. Dr. Khaled Ahmed Ahmed Al-Wasabi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training.

    12. Major General / Ibrahim Ali Ahmed Haydan, Minister of Interior.

    13. Ahmed Omar Muhammad Arman, Minister of Legal Affairs and Human Rights.

    25. Mani 'hands over Salih Bayemin as Minister of Public Works and Roads.
