For me I have accepted that the NEM share price is under valued and expect it to rise. That's what investing is all about.

Hi, can you, or anyone, pls help with this takeover deal.They claim they are paying the implied share price of AU$29.27 for each NCM share.

The $29.27 NCM price offered doesn’t make sense when :

a) NCM shareholders are getting 40% of the NEM share value which at todays price of US$40.33, which is AU$25.10.

b) plus an AU$1.10 dividend.

This would make offer valued at a total price of AU$26.20.

How does this make it an implied offer of AU$ 29.27 for each NCM share.

Could they be working out their offer on a higher NEM price when the deal was done?

Can anyone please offer some clarity. Much appreciated.
