Jeez your an optimist Jacko, the Chinese usually just weasel us out of Aussie solar tech. I'm pretty sure a Chinese student came over and worked on some advanced solar cell technology last century , went back and founded the largest solar co manufacturing co (since gone bust) at the time, based on the research. But he did the right thing, he employed a very prominent Aussie professor whose intellectual property it was, as a consultant for a while, as a consolation prize. Not mentioning any names.really
