The gaps on chart don't come with labels. If it was so very easy there would be guru's making announcements after the gaps are formed saying this is a breakaway gap and this will not be filled.

In my examples of NAN and ALU gaps they both occurred with a significant volume rises after the gap and yet were filled.

My worry with gaps is that market manipulators can simulate any of the four types of gaps you mentioned by a series of BOT trades over a number of days and then harvest the retail suckers money. All of us on HC have seen what they can do many times.
