Prior to COVID-19, DKD is very well advanced, CE Mark in Europe for Mass Spectrometry, IVD test kits have CE Mark approval as does the online HUB for interpretation of test results, TGA approval for export also, I would imagine TGA approval in the near future based on EU CE Mark Approval, maybe requiring FDA also, but we have seen a huge amount of progress here.

Endometriosis, Giardia, Asthma & COPD & now this scourge of a virus SARS COV-2 (Covid-19), which also ties in the COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) pipeline, when patients describe their lungs as “feeling like broken glass” post recovery. That’s pretty nasty & probably reflects ILD (Interstitial Lung Disease) which can be Immune mediated, we know that COVID-19 can create an over reactive immune response that attacks the immune cells in the body that would normally fight a virus, & causes a cytokine ‘storm’ response that is killing people.

While Proteomics International has not been mentioned specifically in News articles in regards to a collaboration in looking at which patients will require treatment, the work is happening rapidly with biomarkers & a
collaboration with multiple Educational & Medical Institutes in WA.
