Jordan Belfort, is the former meat salesman from Queens NY who built a $100 million fortune by selling artificially inflated stocks to investors; then blew the money on drugs, planes and prostitutes.
He founded Stratton Oakmont, the brokerage firm at the centre of the securities fraud case that finally brought it down. Afterwards Belfort spent 22 months in prison. Jordan is the author of The Wolf Of Wall Street, about Stratton Oakmont.
