By any measure, this "takeover" is taking aeons to complete. As I read the situation, BBG and Sycamore are trying to screw down lease obligations which is taking time. Shop owners are being offered a reduced rent or nothing which would happen in a bankruptcy. If BBG was American it would be in Chapter 11 reorganising itself. As we in Australia have no such half-way house it's paralysis all around.
