Anybody else heard that Gerry is ready to launch a website selling everything currently available in store + additional goods out of China? I've even heard farm machinery will be available. Talk about hypocrisy, anti campaigner one day, convert the next - surely it can't be true. Gerry dismissed the internet as a sales platform years ago having hired the guru of the time to set it up & then sacking him, just goes to show how much he missed the boat. Had he proceeded he could have dominated the online retail in this country by now. I think it's just dawned on him that bricks & mortar retail will never be the same again. That of course is a particular concern to him as he is a major private property owner of stores leased to HVN.
