you don't get to argue with the other side or trade if they ask for an adjournment: our lawyers would of had two choices/. 1. Agree to the adjournment or 2. Ask for a hearing and argue it out: they know on the first call that the judge is going to give an adjournment so they are not stupid: they aren't going to embarrass themselves by seeking a hearing. An admin matter that has no real urgent time constraints is never going to have an adjournment request knocked back this early: that's the facts.
