SuperTim, what I have realised from this thread is people indeed do have short memories. WEG is damned whatever they do. Personally I think it is time for Tony to outline the true benefit of WEG and the alternatives if they were not involved. As most of the SH have not been privy to the negotiations and the dealings associated with PLV, the influence of WEG would never be realised and so I understand why holders are not impressed.
By the way we are still short of being self sufficient. Anyone who thinks otherwise are simply deluded. A lot of work is left to be for the next phase of mining. Where do you think the cash from initial production at cockatoo will go? People talk as if the resources are confirmed and ready to go today. At least until April 2013,we will be on shaky ground and Tony mentioned the difficulty of the producers initial moments.
