Yes aka I realise tony posted that on hc but he should have communicated that to all retailers as not everyone is represented in HC. This could have been included when they recommended a yes vote etv. In the post he makes it clear that beyond the short term WEG is critical as it HAS proven its ability to raise fast cash. So if the man who is in charge of plv is saying we need WEG, then to oppose it we are saying that there is a better option. So the better option is to own 100% but what if we hit hurdles? Have we got any potential partners lined up? Maybe a CR (extremely diluting at current SP), what if the economics collapses especially with the dramas in the US and Europe still unresolved and then the IO price. it was 80 USD and nearly hammered fmg into oblivion. Or are we assuming the cockatoo will proceed without a hiccup?
Sartori mate did WEG cause the plunge in plv value? Can anyone remember the credit market last year and this year? It was damn hard to raise money then and just as hard now. WEG had trouble with their funding sources but if you recall major problems werevoccurring with partnerships and contracts wprldwide including companies like bhp pulling out of contracts etc. so what makes WEG immune to this?
