OK Starr, just a few points.

I used to have a different opinion on ASZ... thought there was some value there. However, if my memory serves me correctly they went to the market (including ordinary retail shareholders) with a capital raising, and then subsequently suspended the dividend and announced about $15 million in write-offs.

Yet there is no actual mea culpa from management (in terms of cut to salary or any real loss on their behalf.)

Worse yet, not a single Director has bought on market, even despite the supposed "deep value" on offer.

Basically, the reason I haven't done further research on ASG group is because it unfortunately it fails on an essential criteria on the investment checklist. You can probably guess what that is.

Now, that does not mean it isn't on offer at a great price. It just means that it got filtered out at the second stage of our filtering. (Having made it past the first quantitative filter.)
