Not sure if I completely agree with your view marmaduke ! Wouldn't write them off !
As I understand company is trying their hands at future technology - new world computing ! ASZ knows this is the future IT is heading towards and ASZ clearly trying to be there while others may die out ! And there are succeeding too - this is just a transition period from one way of providing services to other.
The debt was perhaps NOT management's fault - it was due otherwise wise acquisitions that didn't prove worthy !
All in all - few big wins and ASZ may go beyond cloud ! LMA was no fool to make 68c offer !
By the way there is lot to learn from your blog - great work !
