Why would anyone pay 45 cents when the price is 9cents now.
The 9 cents price now is not an accurate reflection of what the current value of the company is you are able to buy some shares at 9 cents however can you buy 100% of the company at 9 cents? NO. Thats the simple mechanics of the sharemarket. The experts report would be something that would more accurately reflect what people would be inclined to pay for 100% of the company.
Based on your comments one should then also question why people are now paying over $140 a tonne for iron ore when not to long ago it was $90 or why some people are paying $70 for CBA when after the GFC is was around $26.
Please do not try and use the current share price at a particular point in time as being representaive of what the true value of a company is. There is far more to company valuations than simply basing it on the share price at a point in time.
