Zeiss are in the optics game and do medical equip like OCT (topographers) that optometrists use. Not so much the biometrics field.

It was this type of equip that allowed SM to first c the potential of cornea as a biometric.

Check on the WBT website timeline section and u can c how OCT was involved early and then in 05/06 how Zeiss engineer engaged to assist with some proving up.
