What Uiux has posted is a Brainchip patent for a novel and revolutionary method using Spiking Neural Networks to process DVS camera feeds.

This method in my lay terms provides an environment where AKIDA technology converts 20 bit spikes coming from DVS camera images into spikes for 1 to 4 bit processing on chip in AKIDA without any intervening step such as in Convolutional Neural Networks using complex mathematical accumulates which has been the previous state of the art.

Accepting the claims in the patent application that all previous attempts to use SNN by others have been inefficient and inaccurate this break through by Brainchip is massive.

Remember Samsung provides the DVS camera to Brainchip for its demonstrations.
