The latest Resolve Monitor poll published in The Age today show Labor primary vote continuing to fall under Jacinta Allan now down 12% since she becoming premier. LNP on 37% versus Laborvon 28%.

Allan leads in the preferred premier stakes but the lead has narrowed considerably since the last poll in May. Allan remains at 31% whilst John Pesutto has improved from 25% to 28% in the latest poll and is the closet margin since 2022.

Most importantly this latest poll was taken before the ugly revelations about the CFMEU were disclosed by The Age investigative journalist team headed by Nick McKenzie.

The next poll will e crucial to Allan staying as premier and in fact staying in politics. The voting public know that she has been Transport Minister, Infrastructure Minister, SRL Minister and Commonwealth Games minister. The outcomes in these 4 portfolios have been disastrous for Victoria.
