@ironbark222; we're told that John Pesutto is the best available to the Liberal Party in Victoria - therein is the challenge that voters face at election time!

Big affable Ted Baillieu presented well to voters but his government did absolutely nothing so they sacked him and gave the nod to Napthine - he appealed to voters almost as much as Pesutto does now.

Personnel / leadership issues aside, the real problem is that the Coalition has planted itself on the WRONG side of History: Tony Abbott's legendary 'destructive negativity' just will not cut the mustard when we need governments at all three levels to plan for and to deliver what's needed for the foreseeable future.
