Yes, people on this forum have been decried by the likes of you for warning about the looming reality for years.

That reality that needs a-facing is a millstone of borrowings approaching $180bn, with a corresponding annual interest bill approaching $10bn (and possibly even more depending on how dim the view taken by the ratings agencies in coming years).

$10bn that needs to be paid to the state's creditors every year represents a lot of nurses, doctors, aged care workers, policemen and teachers that could otherwise have been employed.

Its okay to borrow if you can see some return on that spend. The issue in Victoria is none of that is evident. Still not enough hospital beds, roads are congested or damaged, crime out of control, no real big infrastructure gains to this point.
