I am not a big supporter of the FED however I think it is imported to once correct a myth that is out there.
The Fed is not actually printing money. This is just simply not correct. And he is not pumping money into the markets either. It is just that cash absorbed in Treasuries needs to find a new home. And as mentioned a few times, the 200 billion coming out of the SFP need to find a new home too.
I am not a big supporter of the FED however I think it is...
