    In an ancient tradition, whenever a new Pope is elected, a courier delivers him an envelope from Jerusalem.
    The Pope holds that envelope - unopened - and couriers it back to Jerusalem when a new Chief Rabbi is elected.
    The Chief Rabbi holds the envelope - unopened - and couriers it back to a new Pope when elected.

    Last night, when the new Pope, Leo XLV, received the envelope sent from Jerusalem, he decided to break the age-old tradition and open the envelope.

    It contained the bill for the Last Supper.
