Might have held us up higher for a bit, but then he would have been called out for adding fluff to try and cover the negatives of the announcement and then if the fluff he added didn't eventuate on the timelines of HotCopper investors then look out again.. In the end we are all just speculating as to how the whole TGA process has been handled. No matter what, i agree it hasn't worked as we had planned, but we don't and cant know what has been going on in the background. I think now we are at ground zero, again... lets hope Derek or who ever ends up running things gets us moving forward and at a rapid pace.
ps not saving fluff is lies etc but saying it is what we already know and maybe don't need to hear again. But then again maybe a lot did need to hear it..
