In the next week or so Gage Roads will launch the new Stadium Beers (A full strength version also)... These beers will be more targeted to the mainstream drinker.... both classic W.A. Lager.
There is a massive gap in the W.A. market with the locals not as loyal to the likes of Swan and EMU any longer due to the fact that these once iconic Western Australian brands are now brewed in South Australia.
The new locally made Lager has the potential to take a big chunk of the every day regular drinker marker share. It's time for Coles to take the Gage Roads brands on, if not, then they are at risk of losing a further sales to Woolies and the Independants.
Who knows maybe this lager has the potential to do well over east and make in roads in to the mainstream lager market nation wide.....remember brand recognition will be there once all the AFL travelling supporters have a taste at the new stadium.
My understanding is full strength will be priced around $47 and midstrength around $42.
Not to mention the tap points they are likely to acquire in the local pubs over the summer!
