In line with our recently announced strategy for the Company including our heavy internal focus on moving the Company to profitability, we are pleased to announce that both Webfirm and Searchworld reached profitability in April.
David Burden, Ansearch CEO said “The strategies that we have applied to Webfirm and Searchworld have resulted in both a strong lift in sales and an increase in operating efficiencies especially in our production unit. This multi-faceted approach to revenue growth and cost reduction has resulted in the businesses moving back into profit which we believe will be sustainable. We also believe that a number of changes recently implemented in the business have not yet had an effect on the bottom line of the company. We expect to be able to measure the positive effect of these changes in the coming months.�
Mr. Andrew Beecher is now driving the Webfirm and Searchworld revitalisation and he has recently moved to Perth to manage the company locally. A number of changes have been made to the management team in the past week and Ms. Treasa Lonergan has been announced as Mr. Beecher’s second in command.
“Webfirm Melbourne is progressing to plan and will open for business in June. We have a solid pipeline of local business being developed and if the strength of the WA market is an indicator we can expect the Victorian market to also respond well� said Mr. Burden.
The Ansearch Media rejuvenation is also progressing well and we plan to advise some of these developments in the coming weeks.
In addition, further reductions in head office staff have been made to reduce the group overhead on the operational business divisions.
