Labour cost is to high in Australia. Over here, one wants to get up from bed for $15/h. In China, people are willing to work for $5/h. Therefore our Australian factor products are not competitive enough.
But recently there are lots of migrants coming to Australia who are willing to work for $10/h in Servos, car wash & pizza places, filling the service industry jobs that no Aussies want to take it.
