I think you have covered the situation well. That is why I am hanging around for the outcome. The only part that displeases me is the block vote of the nominee account holders. The one name on that account gets to vote for all the mums and dads in the account. But a new law will be introduced next year in UK so that nominee account holders will get the right of vote. Still, I hope percentage wise this will only have a minor effect on the overal vote.
If the outcome was a "no" then the banks between them would have to find a solution . They might even shore up the share price to prevent too large a drop from its present position. They would certainly demand improvement from management. Que sera, sera
