I dont think Reuters would just willy nilly throw a figure out there without being fed that figure or having a good basis to state it. I think they would have been more likely to say that the terms have not yet been agreed or similar unless they were specifically told $600M from whatever source.

This was very similar to the COP sale when most couldn't fathom that they would sell so "cheap" and simply wouldn't believe it for a long time. Just like the COP sale, if it is so cheap why dont FAR claim JV first refusal and sell it off for true value, they stated that they dont know the full terms of the last deal wonder what they will come up with this time if the sale goes through…...
