But I basically agree.
its not like a working ecommerce site is expensive to build or run in the scheme of things, especially when they are already doing the hard yards, which is physically importing and holding stock, and fulfilling orders.
I get that it is cheap to sell on eBay and Amazon to start with, for the amount you could spend on marketing etc, BUT
I still think that a decent standalone branded website should be established . At least get it started and going for the minimal cost it would be at, then at least you can start some selling without the middleman there.
