WoW! Kogan delivered a mere $3.5M net profit on a $1B gross sales – effectively meaning no profit giving the revenue. Today, Mydeal posted a net loss of $5.3M. My God – what is happening? Sitting here, I start to guess what HT8 will tell the market soon. On one hand, whether it will also make a loss? On the other hand, I feel it is more than likely that it will come out with a decent profit. Right now, if HT8 can deliver any meaningful profit comparable to its revenue will be a positive sign for us investors and e-commerce watchers. I trust how they managed its inventory (I don’t believe there is any large amount of write off as what hurts Kogan).
Well, if it can manage an around $1M net profit giving Kogan only managed $3.5M on a $1Brevenue, then I think it will be a fantastic news. Happy to hear your comments.
