kmn, thanks for that, your news certainly is very interesting. I'm a tech dunderhead and it's great to hear an experienced view of the technology.
The way I understand it the new Redflex cameras have a much better dynamic range than anything on the market. This aspect is very important I would imagine in view of all the different factors experienced in a practical sense such as sun glare,poor lighting conditions and also night work. Probably of even more importance in the Californian market would be that these new cameras would further improve the capture of the face shots required in that state.
The present Redflex cameras as you say already have excellent capture and conversion rates, 70%+ has already been mentioned, however even just a further improvement of 5% or more would make a big difference to the bottom line both for Redflex and the city.
