No Assailed, I don't fear that at all. Of all your hypothetical "gloom and doom" stories, this one has the absolute lowest possible chance of coming true, zero percent.
But, inexperienced SH may get scared reading this, which is very unfair of you.
The facts are, that in the extremely unlikely event that (a) the Jan 20 application is declined, and (b) the Feb 21 application is declined, and (c) the appeals by Advent to each of those decisions were unsuccessful, then the permit will expire and it will never see the light of day again. If due process determines the location is no longer suitable, nobody will ever explore there again.
I am of the view that due process will see the Jan 20 application approved. JMO. DYOR.
