Now that all the approvals are in place for the DZP I think it is an outstanding asset to have at such an advanced state, ready for when the time is right.
Personally I don't see the urgency in progressing the DZP & spending more money on it until the REE market is going gangbusters again & ECA's/International investors are begging ALK to participate in the development. Nothing wrong imho with keeping this billion dollar asset on ice until the REE markets are more favorable. It is far easier to kick a football with the breeze at your back!
ALK really do have a very good gold business that I think should be their focus right now. The gold business alone should be worth a multiple to the current market cap.
Just my thoughts.
