Timber - which IB do you work for????? Let me know who your debt finance team are - I need to meet them! They seem a pretty generous bunch. I have a project with an old well and no seismic - maybe they'll lend me the money to develop it.......yeah right.

Oil companies debt funding other oil companies?? Dream dream baby. Why would they? Out of the goodness of their hearts?? Majors are majors because they squeeze the small guys out. Commercial reality.
