Homeground isn’t near a major capital city and also isn’t custom built for quarantine, but the fact they could implement a much safer quarantine system almost immediately makes it surely worth very deep consideration now that the Delta strain is locking down half the country! Hopefully management are still working hard to sell and pitching it to the right people. I do genuinely think a sale could be win-win so it wouldn’t surprise if an imminent sale does come about.

I read somewhere that the govt will not approve Homeground as a quarantine facility as its crucial to keep it clean for mining projects which will require ongoing maintenance work. Protecting the economy is the priority.
