Agree, with SL at the helm, it certainly has become a more exciting company.
Another big reason that dictates a trading strategy is time, when I was employed dividend stocks were more appealing to me as I didn’t have the time to manage short term trading, announcements etc ... but there’s something about a quick buy/sell in the morning and a free long lunch that keeps trading exciting.
Unlike for example sport there is no written rules, you can play your own way, make plenty of mistakes and still win. I never dwell on the mistakes, the perfect trade, it would take up too much time lol.
It’s more about limiting those few large losses which do most of the damage to ones overall result. Once I use to hold on bad news but the market is too ruthless these days. These days even average good news gets punished. Acting quickly and decisively saves money in the sharemarket. Just a few of my own thoughts.
