Eire2011 what a great article and such mention with the industry heavyweights. DuraVar needs to move fast and claim a percentage of the market. The polymer comment is interesting and a future competitor, however AVR have the one piece tech and IP so that is a mote. In future these could be combined. Edwards would need to buy the lot out. AVR has the mitral valve repair tech which we are told is an improvement on present tech so that could be worth billions and should be valued in any takeover scenario.
