The results of a clinical trial using Penthrox as pain relief during bone marrow biopsy have just been published.

The conclusion was: Penthrox was safe and performed better than placebo for analgesia in BM Biopsy procedures.
49% of patients reported Penthrox treatment as very good or excellent compared to 16% of those treated with the placebo
