@patron there is definitely not a conflict of interest. It's ASX and ASIC guidelines if directors wish to participate it has to be voted upon by their shareholders.
Please do ur homework before posting here and potentially misleading other SH's.
Personally I have no problem with them participating as their money is just as good as the seagulls that participated and dictated the terms of this Crap Raise. Why should they miss out on the buy of the century? And it's the first time in a squillion years that the frontman of CAY, has put his money where his mouth is!!! TBH I cannot remember if or when his predecessor actually put any $$$ forward. If he did, it was many, many years ago. However that's now history. TBH I'm impressed with JS jumping on the front foot to participate. Shows me how confident he is, we will all see a solid return.
I'm still holding off any decision (for now) on voting of the options.
My heart and my head is in conflict right now and I want to see where we are trading and what news has flowed before making my final decision.
There has been some very good arguments and statements put forward as to why we should do everything in our power to vote them down.
I like to weigh up everything including any possible consequences of voting against them. And TBH I'm quite sure most of this selling has been done by participants of this CR, however I have no evidence of this. Obviously a few emotional SH would have sold once we relisted. Crazy IMO.
The same has happened at every previous CR completed by CAY. I'm sure at least half are in safe hands whether these Options are voted through or not. As the bigger picture here comes into effect AFTER the MC is issued. And I'm quite confident, a chunk of the other half of CR participants have already sold hoping these free options will come into play. They get to take a profit and maintain their status quo for free thanks to this pathetic CR which only benefited 1 party. The CR participants, not the 65% majority holding retail SH'ers.
