going out on a limb (and I am a heavy guy) that it means they are milling ore of around 35 grams a ton from the reefs which is a little above the historic grade coming out of the mine, because from memory they were hoping to average around 14 grams a ton.
Of course the grade from individual reefs is going to be vary from each other
It also is a good indicator that the guys on the end of the airlegs are experienced and are not contaminating the ore with gangue.
but were the assays based on drill results or grab samples
if based on grab samples the improved grade is more valid.
But there is no indication of actual long term average tonnage per day, which is obviously the other important variable to determine probable ounces coming out.
The above is just my opinion and shouldnt be taken as advice.
