I think it’s a a load of rubbish.
China doesn’t allow protests, or any mention of Tiananmen Sq.
Yet here we are seeing protests at the headquarters of Evergrande, and investors being interviewed about their potential losses if Evergrande collapses. Also videos of multiple high rises being razed to the ground.
If China did not want us knowing about Evergrande, we would not know. After all, it is an internal affair of China.
Anyway, the effect is iron ore futures down.
