Take off the rose coloured glasses you reckon, these guys  would of been in attendance at the Dubai steel expo , and if their doing ther job im sure they would be aware of Coldry ,Matmor.  Their biggest problem to get this thing rolling for them will be Power. Ive read that Nuclear maybe considered but you still need coaking coal for steel , so no Tesla big batteries either and I don't think SA greens would tolerate nuclear on any level  .Cleaner lower emissons brown coal might be something for them to think about with what seems to be and abundance of cheap local supply and good infactstrucure in place.   But hey we,ve got plenty on our plate atm to finnish and they,ll still have to go through years of feasibility and hurdles, kind of sounds familiar.
