    nope. production is basically irrelevant to the gold price. the POG is set by the holders and would be holders of the 170,000 tonnes of gold ever mined. the incremental 2,000 tonnes per year added to that makes minimal difference. supply is never an issue with gold - it's what makes it so special :-)
