The virus replicates in the oral cavity for approx. a week before it then spreads throughout the body (lungs). It needs that time to replciate to strong enough numbers to move elsewhere (reach a certain viral load). Covid-19 seems most 'at home' in the oral cavity.

An oral application therefore has three potential uses.

1. Preventative Measure
- Healthcare and frontline workers who could be exposed to the virus take it as a preventative measure to mitigate the risk of becoming infected.

2. Early Onset
- Diagnosed patients who still have no / mild symtoms could use the product to help lower their viral load and allow stop the virus before it can spread to other areas of the body.

3. More serious patients
- As the product could reduce viral load, this could de administerd to people with more serious conditions as an attempt to help reduce viral load and guve their immune system a fighting chance.
