The fact is Atlas is in a perfect position and spoilt for choice and opportunity.
The Chinese hate depending on RIO and BHP and are looking for other suppliers. Atlas is one such supplier.
BHP and RIO on the other hand want to keep the Chinese dependancy going to ensure their gravy train keeps flowing, thus they are also interested in Atlas to stop Chinese possible takeovers!
Practically Atlas is in the middle of two major powers with extreme amounts of cash and influence, which can only mean joint agreements and or takeovers for this company. It will happen sooner or later.
The fact is Atlas is in a perfect position and spoilt for choice...
