There is an article in todays AFR noting that Copulos has substantial interests in the fast food ndustry and owns 54 KFC outlets in NSW which makes him the largest independant franchisee in the country. He skipped the float but purchased an initial holding back in August. He apparently saw the stock as undervalued and the slump as a buying opportunity and jumped in further.
The family has been in the business since 1968 so presumably they know a thing or two about it!
