    As far as I can tell (and may be wrong), the previous operators were treating mostly oxide ore. The metallurgical properties between fresh and oxide ore can be vastly different.

    Now my reasoning is, if there was 600k oz of easily treatable ore 200-300m from the existing plant, why wouldnt mgmt pull all stops to bring it into production?

    And another point, why would a host of suitors be all over this project, outbidding lion by $50-100m?

    It just doesnt add up IMO.
